About Our Clinic
Careful, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation for you and everyone at home.

One Patient at a Time, from Clinicians Who Listen
Circle Physiotherapy brings several rehabilitation disciplines under one roof for everyone in your household. Your family doctor stays in the loop. What sets this clinic apart is one-on-one time — learning the injury, hearing your goals, then building treatment around both.
Expect a warm, encouraging tone in the treatment room. Physiotherapists, chiropractors and registered massage therapists coordinate their plans and share notes, so your care is joined-up and the clinic feels easy to walk into.
Our Founder — Ravinder Kaur Sidhu
Registered Physiotherapist · DPT · MClSc · FCAMPT
Circle Physiotherapy was founded by Ravinder Kaur Sidhu — the driving force behind its clinical vision, its culture, and its standard of care. Her career was defined by an unwavering commitment to evidence-based practice, hands-on excellence, and genuinely patient-centred care.
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University and her Master of Clinical Science from Western University, and held the FCAMPT designation — the highest level of expertise in orthopaedic manual therapy in Canada. Ravinder passed away in June 2025, but her standards, her philosophy, and her passion for excellence continue to guide everything we do.

Why Circle Physiotherapy Leads with Clinical Substance, Not Slogans
One belief shaped this practice from the start: results follow when experienced therapists are given enough time, enough hands-on contact, and a door that genuinely closes. That belief still governs day-to-day work at our Mount Pleasant area location in Brampton. First appointments run a full 45-60 minutes with a Registered Physiotherapist. Sessions happen in a room with walls, not a curtain. Return visits go back to the therapist who already knows the file. None of this was built to move more bodies through the schedule; it was built to get people better.
Recognition from the wider clinical community matters here: a deep bank of verified patient reviews, repeated top placements in best-physiotherapy-clinic voting, and referrals from WSIB case managers, personal injury lawyers, orthopaedic surgeons, family physicians, and sports clubs around Brampton. Those signals appear for one reason — people treated here mention it to neighbours, coworkers and their own doctors, because the experience bears no resemblance to conveyor-belt rehab.
The Training Behind Our Care
The way we assess and treat here was shaped by a physiotherapist carrying the FCAMPT designation — a senior post-graduate manual therapy qualification granted by the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, which relatively few physiotherapists in Canada hold. Its curriculum centres on thorough orthopaedic examination, graded hands-on technique, and exercise loading that progresses. That inheritance shows in how frozen shoulder, knee rehabilitation after surgery, and long-standing low back pain get handled in Brampton: a proper look first, manual work second, and a plan explained before anything starts.
Dr. Thessa Prashad, our chiropractor, holds an Honours BSc earned at York University, a Doctor of Chiropractic awarded by the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture certification from McMaster University. All massage here is delivered by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs), regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Pelvic health sessions are run by a physiotherapist certified to Level-3 through Pelvic Health Solutions.
How We Define Patient-Centred Care
Almost every clinic claims to put patients first, so here is what the phrase means in practice at Circle Physiotherapy. The therapist who greets you is still there when the appointment ends. Nobody hands you to an aide partway through so the clinician can start someone else next door. Nobody parks you on a mat doing unsupervised stretches while the meter runs. Nobody puts you in a half-open bay where the person behind a curtain hears your medical history. Those compromises are common across Brampton and the wider GTA; they are simply not how this clinic runs. Longer bookings, closed rooms and undivided attention are what make the results different.
Working Within the Brampton and Peel Region Community
Being part of the local health and wellness scene matters to Circle Physiotherapy, in Brampton and across Peel Region. Our clinicians speak at community events about how injuries happen and how they are rehabilitated, cover sports clubs around the city, and sit in on multidisciplinary case reviews alongside orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians and family doctors nearby. The clinic is registered with WSIB and approved for MVA rehabilitation under Intact Insurance, Aviva, TD, Belairdirect, Co-operators, Economical, and Desjardins, and serves as a trusted clinical partner to several personal injury law firms throughout Peel Region. A referral sent here by your doctor or specialist rests on a clinical relationship, never on a marketing arrangement.
How We Protect Your Health Information
Two statutes set the rules here: the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) in Ontario, plus the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Charts live in an encrypted electronic medical record hosted inside Ontario. Nothing clinical leaves this office for a third party unless you have specifically agreed, or unless the law compels disclosure — for instance, corresponding with an auto insurer about an OCF-18 submission you signed off on. How we handle records, and your rights as a patient, are set out on our Privacy Policy page.
The People Who Treat You
Therapists and front-desk staff alike are here to get you well.
