Our Founder & Eternal Inspiration
Ravinder Kaur Sidhu, Registered Physiotherapist · DPT · MClSc · FCAMPT
Ravinder receiving her Master of Clinical Science
from Western University
Ravinder Sidhu was more than the founder of Circle Physiotherapy — she was the driving force behind its clinical vision, its culture, and its standard of care. A Registered Physiotherapist of exceptional distinction, her career was defined by an unwavering commitment to evidence-based practice, hands-on excellence, and patient-centred care.
While she was a respected member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Ravinder's true impact was felt where it mattered most — within her clinic, alongside her patients. She was a trusted advocate for the vulnerable, a strategic partner in recovery for athletes, and a source of strength and reassurance for those living with pain.
Ravinder approached physiotherapy not merely as a profession, but as a lifelong calling. Known for her relentless pursuit of knowledge, she continuously advanced her clinical expertise to deliver the highest standard of care. Her approach combined scientific rigour with genuine compassion — ensuring every patient received both precision treatment and empathetic support.
A Legacy of Clinical Excellence
Ravinder's commitment to mastery was reflected in both her academic achievements and her advanced clinical training. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from A.T. Still University, her Master of Clinical Science (MClSc) from Western University, and achieved the prestigious FCAMPT designation — recognized as the highest level of expertise in orthopaedic manual therapy in Canada. Her extensive post-graduate training included:
Maternal & Pelvic Health
- Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy (Levels 1–3)
- Caesarean Birth Preparation & Recovery
- Diastasis Rectus Abdominis Rehabilitation
Neurological & Vestibular Rehabilitation
- Vestibular Rehabilitation (Introductory & Advanced)
- Concussion Management (Levels 1 & 2)
Advanced Orthopaedic & Manual Therapy
- Mulligan Concept
- McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (Parts A–C)
- APTEI Advanced Orthopaedic Certifications
Biomechanics & Functional Optimization
- Gait Analysis
- Custom Orthotic Therapy
- Medical Compression Therapy
Her clinical philosophy was clear: combine advanced technical skill with individualized care to restore function, prevent injury, and improve long-term outcomes.
Her Enduring Legacy
Ravinder passed away in June 2025, but her impact remains deeply embedded in every aspect of Circle Physiotherapy. She believed that physiotherapy is both a science and an art — requiring clinical precision, critical thinking, and genuine human connection. More importantly, she believed that every patient has the capacity to recover, improve, and live better — and she dedicated her life to making that belief a reality.
Today, her vision continues to guide everything we do. Her clinical standards shape our treatment approaches, her philosophy influences our patient care, and her passion for excellence inspires our entire team. At Circle Physiotherapy, we do not simply carry forward her work — we uphold her legacy. Every patient we treat, every recovery we support, and every outcome we strive for is a reflection of the standard she set.
Her legacy is not a memory — it is our daily mission.
