What sets us apart: Our clinical approach was developed by our founder, Ravinder Kaur Sidhu — a physiotherapist with FCAMPT designation — an advanced post-graduate manual therapy credential held by a small minority of Canadian physiotherapists.

Our Founder's Credentials

That physiotherapist was our founder, Ravinder Kaur Sidhu — Registered Physiotherapist, DPT (A.T. Still University), MClSc (Western University), FCAMPT. Her post-graduate training spanned pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management, the Mulligan and McKenzie approaches, and advanced orthopaedic certifications.

Ravinder passed away in June 2025. The standards described on this page are the standards she set — and the ones our team continues to practise every day.

What FCAMPT Means

In Canada, the Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) sits well beyond entry-level licensure — a senior qualification in manual and manipulative therapy. The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association grants it only after several years of study beyond licensure, hundreds of supervised hours in clinic, written and practical examinations, and a residency.

Coursework centres on joint mobilization, spinal manipulation, soft tissue work, and differential diagnosis across musculoskeletal presentations. Only a small minority of physiotherapists in Canada hold the fellowship. Here at Circle Physiotherapy, the clinical model came from a physiotherapist schooled in that system, and it guides the way our team assesses and delivers hands-on care.

About the M.Cl.Sc. in Manipulative Therapy

A Canadian graduate degree, the Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy (M.Cl.Sc.) concentrates on high-level orthopaedic physiotherapy, hands-on treatment, and clinical reasoning. Students work through biomechanics, the neuroscience of pain, and research-informed care alongside extensive supervised practice.

The M.Cl.Sc. pathway pairs clinical reasoning drawn from graduate research with disciplined, systematic hands-on technique. Our lead clinician trained inside that framework, which carries into how orthopaedic assessments and treatments run here.

Licensing Through the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)

Ontario law bars anyone from practising physiotherapy without registration through the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). That body writes the standards of practice, holds its registrants to account, and publishes a public register listing every licensed therapist, with registration details, practice areas, and disciplinary history.

Every Circle Physiotherapy clinician holds CPO registration and is in good standing. Look up any member of our team yourself on the CPO Public Register.

How Deeper Training Changes Your Outcome

Sharper Diagnosis

Deeper study sharpens differential diagnosis. It separates a vague "sounds like sciatica" from pinning down a piriformis problem or pain referred from the hip.

Quicker Progress

Hands-on work guided by post-graduate skill supports your exercise program and keeps you moving forward.

Stubborn Problems

Physio that stalled first time, post-surgical recovery, long-standing pain — when a case has plateaued elsewhere, skilled manual therapy often restarts progress.

Research-Led

Graduate-level study keeps what we recommend anchored to current evidence, not habit, sales pressure, or guesswork.

Questions Patients Ask

How do I check a physiotherapist's registration?

Type the therapist's name into the CPO Public Register. The entry shows registration status, their number, what they may treat, and any restrictions.

Does every Brampton physiotherapist carry a credential like FCAMPT?

No. The minimum qualification to register in this province is a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) — a strong foundation — but designations such as FCAMPT or M.Cl.Sc. go beyond it, take years more schooling after licensure, and belong to a small share of working physiotherapists.

Will my health plan pay for physiotherapy?

Yes. Sessions are claimed as ordinary physiotherapy on your policy. Direct billing covers Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Desjardins, Blue Cross, WSIB, MVA, plus most large Canadian carriers.

How does that training show up in my care?

The clinic's framework came from a physiotherapist holding FCAMPT designation, and that grounding still shapes how assessments are built, how treatment is chosen, and how staff are supervised. Want a particular therapist, or a particular style of treatment? Tell us at booking and we will accommodate where we can.

Judge for Yourself

Reserve time with our Brampton clinicians and put that training to work.
