Physiotherapy in Brampton

Hands-on physiotherapy in Brampton for injuries, joint and nerve pain, and post-surgical recovery, using a clinical model shaped by a physiotherapist with FCAMPT designation.

Physiotherapy at Circle Physiotherapy Brampton

About This Service

Every physiotherapist at Circle Physiotherapy is licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO): Divya Sreejith, Akanksha Rawat, Vidhi Godhani and Komal Suthar. Each completed a graduate entry-to-practice degree, passed the national licensing examination, and keeps current through required yearly learning. The treatment framework they follow was built by a physiotherapist carrying the FCAMPT designation, a senior post-graduate manual therapy qualification that relatively few physiotherapists in Canada earn.

Your physiotherapy appointment happens in a private treatment room, with the same physiotherapist working directly with you from start to finish — never handed off to an aide on a shared gym floor. Depending on what your examination shows, care may draw on manual and manipulative therapy, graded strengthening and movement retraining, medical acupuncture or dry needling, shockwave for stubborn tendon problems, spinal decompression, Class IV laser, ultrasound and electrotherapy, plus dizziness and concussion rehabilitation.

Conditions we see daily include low back and neck pain, sciatica and disc-related nerve pain, sports and overuse injuries, tendon pain, rehabilitation after knee, hip, shoulder or spine surgery, pelvic health concerns, vertigo and balance loss, concussion, jaw pain, and injuries from car crashes or work. Circle Physiotherapy sits at 10725 McLaughlin Rd, Unit #5 in Mount Pleasant Brampton, opens seven days a week, offers same-day physio treatment and a free consultation, and bills extended health plans, WSIB and MVA/HCAI insurers directly. Call (905) 495-5600.

When Should You Get This Treatment?

  • Pain from a new injury — sprained ankles, strained muscles, a back that locked up, or soreness from repeated movement. Early physiotherapy shortens recovery and lowers the risk of lasting pain.
  • Pain lasting three months or longer — stubborn low back, neck, shoulder, hip or knee pain and recurring headaches. Current guidelines put active physiotherapy ahead of pills or injections for most mechanical pain.
  • Recovery after orthopaedic surgery — knee, hip, shoulder, spine or ankle procedures. We work to the protocol your surgeon set and load the tissue only as fast as healing allows.
  • Injuries from a motor vehicle collision — whiplash, back pain, headaches or concussion symptoms. Treatment is covered by Ontario auto insurance and invoiced to your insurer for you.
  • A workplace injury with an approved WSIB claim — reporting paperwork is completed here, and your progress is reported to the employer and case manager.
  • Pelvic health problems — leaking urine, pelvic heaviness, pregnancy-related girdle pain, or rebuilding strength after birth. These sessions stay in a closed private room.
  • Dizziness, vertigo or lingering concussion symptoms — positional vertigo, unsteadiness, visual strain, neck-driven headaches, and trouble tolerating exercise or screens.
  • Losing confidence with walking or balance — arthritic stiffness, repeated stumbles, mobility changes with Parkinson’s, or regaining function after a stroke.
  • Getting back to your sport — staged loading, strength and hop testing, and clear physical benchmarks to meet before full training resumes.

What to Expect

Your first appointment (45–60 minutes): you are shown into a private room and asked what happened, where it hurts, what eases or aggravates it, and how the problem affects sleep, work and daily life. Your physiotherapist screens for anything that belongs with a doctor, records baseline pain and function scores in plain language, then examines posture, movement, strength, reflexes and specific joint tests. You hear the diagnosis, agree on the plan, get your first treatment, and leave with two to four exercises plus picture or video instructions.

Return appointments (30–45 minutes): we repeat those baseline scores, compare them with where you started, advance hands-on techniques and exercise difficulty, and add acupuncture, dry needling, shockwave, laser or decompression when the reassessment points that way.

How progress is judged: improvement is measured against your own starting scores and the activities you named as goals, never a fixed visit quota. Evidence broadly favours graded exercise together with manual therapy, and your physiotherapist will say plainly what is realistic and how long it takes.

Booking and billing: we are open seven days — Monday to Friday 9 to 7, weekends 9 to 3 — with same-day openings and a genuinely free consultation if you are unsure whether physio will help. Anyone looking for a physiotherapist near them in north Brampton will find us by McLaughlin Rd and Sandalwood Pkwy. Extended health, WSIB and auto insurers are billed directly, and no doctor’s referral is needed, though some plans ask for one before reimbursing.
